On the east end of St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands there are many large resorts with
beaches, some with marinas as well. This is a wonderful area to begin or end your Virgin
Islands vacation - with a hotel stay before of after your cruise aboard your own luxury
charter yacht. Red Hook is the principal town on the east side of the island, and has large
dock facilities. It is host to the Virgin Islands sport fishing fleet during the summer, when
tuna, mahi-mahi, wahoo and the blue marlin are in our waters. Red Hook also has a very
active nightlife with several fine restaurants serving the fresh fish caught that day! Unique
Caribbean saloons for all tastes also abound, serving the locally produced Cruzan Rum.
