Recently, you may have received a letter from Pegasus insurance company offering to send you
marine insurance quote for consideration. Please review any quote you receive very carefully and
make sure that  you understand the location of the security company involved in your quote. You
may want to reduce the amount you are currently paying; but make sure that you are not
compromising the quality of your coverage. Theodore Tunick and Company  has been the leader in
the marine insurance industry for VICL for many years and they hope to continue to earn your
business.

By unanimous vote, the VICL Board of Governors have decided that all leads received by
www.vicl.org will go to current registered 2008 VICL Members who are bona fide yacht owners. We
have struggled long to find an equitable way to handle leads generated from our member
supported web site. We now look to our sister organization, BVI Charter Yacht Society, and have
decided to adopt their procedures as a standard of the industry. The VICL website features a list of
charter yacht brokers who have attended our latest show. Visitors to the site will have the option to
contact the list of brokers for assistance in booking a charter. The site will feature contact
information for registered VICL member yachts as well as Honorary Members (individuals or
companies interested in supporting VICL). The Board of Governors requests that all responses to
inquiries be professional. If you book a charter from a www.vicl.org inquiry, please let us know so
that we can track the effectiveness of this system.

Speaking of protecting our waters, WT Enterprises of St. John is planning on bringing the 115'
Leylon Sneed to Christmas Cove for a floating bar and restaurant, complete with floating dock and
moorings. Christmas Cove is within the St. James Marine Reserve and Wildlife Sanctuary. One of
the intentions of this designation is to provide coastal and marine viewing and recreation areas for
the general public, snorkel and SCUBA divers, school groups, and scientists. While a few see this
as a beneficial business for St. Thomas/St. John, a large number of people have expressed
concerns ranging from environmental to safety to overall serenity of the place.

These concerns were presented to CZM in testimony against WT's CZM permit application on
March 4th at Port Authority Building (on the hill at the airport) Conference Room. Sue Maki attended.

Written comments should be addressed to:

Austin Monsanto, Chairman, St. Thomas CZM Committee, Department of Planning and Natural
Resources, 8100 Lindberg Bay, Suite 61, Cyril E. King Airport, Terminal Building 2nd Floor, St.
Thomas, VI 00802, Phone: (340) 774-3320, Fax: (340) 714-9524 Note: Reference Permit #
CZT-10-07L and send an additional copy to Anthony Richards, Permits Coordinator at the address
above.
